The Sonar International Short Film Festival announces its seventh annual competition, celebrating the best film/video artists. The festival will be held on March 2007 in Firenze (Italy), and will include the best in fiction, experimental, animation, and documentary shorts. The festival seeks the quality, the confrontational, the intercultural, the innovation.

The festival is also particularly interested in films that explore musical components, topics and themes. The Sonar Film Festival seeks films that help offering a platform that encourages new ideas work, and pushes the envelope in style and content.
